Boys Soccer:
Worthington def. Fairmont 8-2
--Andrew Johnson had 3 goals for the Trojans as Worthington outshot the Cardinals 28-4. Angel Sanchez had 2 goals for the Trojans with Ivan Rodriguez, Edwin Hernandez and Jose Bahena all scored for the Trojans in the victory. Worthington is now 5-4 on the season and will host Marshall on Thursday

MLB Baseball:
Minnesota Twins def. Detroit Tigers 4-3
--The Twins picked up a run in the 4th inning on an RBI single from Kurt Suzuki and another run in the 6th inning on a solo homerun by Kennys Vargas. The Twins held a 2-0 lead until the top of the 9th inning when Detroit took the lead on a 3-run homerun by JD Martinez. The Twins came right back in the bottom of the 9th inning as Suzuki tied it up with an RBI double and won the game on an RBI infield single by Aaron Hicks. Glen Perkins, who blew his 7th save chance of the season, picked up his 4th win of the season. Kennys Vargas led the Twins at the plate with 3 hits. Twins improve to 64-87 on the season and host the Tigers again tonight. Listen live on AM 730 KWOA at 6:40pm
