College Football:
Fond du Lac Thunder def. Minnesota West Bluejays 16-13
-- The Bluejay defense held the Thunder to 192 yards of total offense on the day and had 7 quarterback sacks. However, Fond du Lac’s defense held the Bluejays to 32 yards rushing and had 10 quarterback sacks. Colin Brons led the Bluejay passing attack, going 16-of-24 passing for 214 yards and 2 touchdowns. Elliot Oldham had 5 catches for 88 yards and a touchdown. Stephon Hall had 2 and a half sacks and Rick Thomas had 13 tackles to led the Bluejay defense as the Bluejays fall to 0-2 on the season. Minnesota West will have their first home game of the season at Trojan Field when they host Itasca on Saturday at 11:00am

--Worthington is 1-3 on the year and will host Fairmont on Thursday

MLB Baseball:
Minnesota Twins def. Baltimore Orioles 6-4
--Phil Hughes was dominate on the mound, allowing 3 runs (0 earned) on 5 hits and struck out 5 on his way to his 15th win of the season. Glen Perkins did give up a solo homeurn in the 9th but still picked up his 33rd save of the season. Joe Mauer had 3 hits, including a triple, and drove in 4 runs on the day as the Twins stave off a 4-game sweep attempt by the Orioles and improve to 60-77 on the season. Minnesota is back at home beginning a series with the Chicago White Sox tonight. Listen live on AM 730 KWOA tonight at 6:40pm

Sports Notes
--The Worthington YMCA is holding Registration and Informational Meeting for a couple of upcoming Adult Leagues.

A meeting will be held for the YMCA Adult Kickball League today at 5:30pm at the Worthington Area YMCA at 1501 Collegeway in Worthington. Cost is $125 dollar per team.

A Meeting will also be held for the YMCA Adult Flag Football League also tonight. That meeting will follow the kickball meeting at 6:00pm this evening
