BREWSTER – The woman who died after a two-vehicle collision east of Brewster has been identified as PJ Kass, 66, of Eagan, according to the Minnesota State Patrol.

A 1996 Ford F150 pickup driven by Kyle Jans, 22, of Fulda, was on Minnesota 60 pulling a small hay rack when he was rear-ended by a 1996 Accord, driven by Kass. According to Jans, both vehicles ended up in the ditch.

13-year-old Tyler Fahrendorf, a passenger in the Accord, suffered non-life threatening injuries, as did Jans.

Assisting at the scene was the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office, Brewster Fire and Rescue and the Worthington Ambulance.

How does one car traveling

How does one car traveling the same direction in the same lane pile so violently in another car? Was the pickup at a stop light?
