AG CONNECT Expo to Showcase Latest Product and Technologies

Producers will have no problem finding the more than 150 new products and technologies that exhibitors plan to display at the upcoming AG CONNECT Expo & Summit 2013, thanks to pre-show and at-show efforts to help attendees locate new products on the show floor.

As part of AG CONNECT’s New Products & Technologies Program, attendees may preview new products online and create a personal show planner to keep track of exhibitors they want to visit.

At the show, the printed show directory will provide attendees with the complete list of New Products & Technologies Program participants, and prominent signage will help them easily find booths in which new products or technologies are displayed.

AG CONNECT is owned and produced by the Association of Equipment Manufacturers (AEM). It is scheduled for January 29-31, 2013, at the Kansas City Convention Center in Kansas City, Missouri. Preview Day is January 29 by special admission.

Top Ag Engineering Innovations on Display

AG CONNECT has also teamed up with the American Society of Agricultural and Biological Engineers (ASABE) to honor the “best of the best” from among the products selected by ASABE for its annual AE50 awards.

Winning entries for the new Gold and Silver AE50 awards, selected from among the previous two years of AE50 award winners, will be announced January 29 and displayed in the AG CONNECT exhibit hall. Special signage will also indicate booths in which AE50 and/or Gold and Silver award-winning products are displayed, making it easy for attendees to find them.

“We’ve encouraged our exhibitors to have senior company executives, product engineers and technical experts available in their booths to talk about new products,” said Rob Kolb, AG Chair of AEM and vice president, global business development, GEA Farm Technologies Inc. “Having the people who developed the products present to talk to customers is one thing that really sets AG CONNECT apart from other shows.”

Early Bird Registration Extended to January 18

Exhibit Space Sell-Out Expected at AG CONNECT

“This is our third show and we expect it will be the biggest yet,” said Sara Truesdale Mooney, AG CONNECT show director. “We plan to sell out our space for this year’s show in Kansas City and planning is already underway for our 2015 show in Indianapolis. We are extremely pleased at the progress we’ve made with AG CONNECT in just a few years since its launch.”

AG CONNECT Expo & Summit is held every two years to synchronize with Agritechnica in Hanover, Germany, owned by the German Agricultural Society, DLG. The two global agriculture trade exhibitions – Agritechnica in Europe and AG CONNECT Expo & Summit in North America – coordinate timing of their show dates for the convenience of exhibitors and attendees with global business interests.
