Holiday Hours

Due to the holidays, the Minnesota Soybean Processors of Brewster bean receiving will be closing at 12:00 p.m. on December 24th, and closed on December 25th. Normal hours resume on December 26th.

At Poet Ashton, corn receiving will be closed on December 25th.

The futures markets (CME) will also observe the holiday. On Wednesday, December 24th, markets will close at noon. On December 25th, markets will be closed all days. On December 26th, markets will reopen at 8:30 a.m. and close at 1:15 p.m.


Free Bus Transport to MN Ag EXPO 2015

SHAKOPEE, Minn. Optimistic Propane Forecast

The propane industry reported a positive winter outlook as officials met to brief governors at the Midwestern Governor’s Association Propane Meeting in Milwaukee, Wisconsin on Wednesday.

Enrollment Open for the Margin Protection Program

(St. Paul, Minn.), Sept. 2, 2014 — USDA Minnesota Farm Service Agency (FSA) Executive Director, Debra Crusoe, today announced that starting Sept. 2, 2014, farmers can enroll in the new dairy Margin Protection Program. The voluntary program, established by the 2014 Farm Bill, provides financial assistance to participating farmers when the margin – the difference between the price of milk and feed costs – falls below the coverage level selected by the farmer.
