On August 6th there will be a meeting for all athletes and parents participating in sports at Worthington High School for the 2015-2016 school year.

The National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) announced their 2014-2015 NJCAA Academic Student-Athlete Awards
Minnesota West had 3 student-athletes earn awards from the NJCAA.
Derek Buysse, who played basketball and baseball for Minnesota West) earned the Superior Academic Achievement Award (given to athletes with a GPA between 3.8 to 3.99 on a 4.0 scale)
Bridget Kramer, who played basketball at Minnesota West) also earned the Superior Academic Achievement Award
At a press conference Monday night at the Worthington Country Club, Great Life Malaska Golf & Fitness announced their partnership with All Day Fore Africa for the 6th annual event to be held at the Worthington Country Club on Monday, July 13th
This year’s mission is named Abana, which in Rwanda means kids. The goal is to raise $40,000 which will help produce, manage and provide a nutritious meal 2 days a week for a year to 863 kids in two schools in Kibeho, located in Southern Rwanda in Africa
Great Life Golf in Worthington is hosting a press conference tonight at the Worthington Country Club at 6:00pm tonight to go over details of the 6th Annual All Day Fore Africa event which will be held on Monday, July 13th at the Worthington Country Club.
This year’s goal is to raise $40,000 which will be used to help feed the kids from 2 schools in the village of Kibeho, which is located in Southern Rwanda in Africa, 863 children in all.
The Minnesota College Athletic Conference has released their 2014-2015 Spring Academic Award Winners
Athletes are given MCAC academic recognition if they have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or better at the end of the semester in which the majority of the sport season occurs and they have enrolled in and completed a minimum of 12 credits during that semester
