I'm the latest addition to Radio Works personalities and play many hats. For the morning, I am a co-host with Jared Rademacher on KWOA's First News Morning show, delivering farm news and market information as the station's ag broadcaster.
In addition to my morning ag broadcasts, I host an Afternoon Ag Segment on a weekly basis, Thursdays from 1-1:30 p.m. I also play roles behind-the scenes as the Director of Integrated Media for Radio Works Headquarters, which encompasses responsibilities in providing a presence for the Radio Works stations (93.5 Rock It FM, FM 104.3 The Party, The Hot Country Highway US95, AM 730 KWOA) in social media as well as management of each respective website.
I graduated from WHS of Worthington in 2007 and in 2011, graduated from South Dakota State University with double degrees in Animal Science and Agricultural Journalism. While taking on my full-time responsibilities here at Radio Works, I am also a full-time grad student, pursuing my master's in Communication Styles and Journalism. I hope to follow this master's with one in Animal Science with emphasis on genetics and production.
As an avid ag advocate and life-long learner, I continue to look for opportunities to educate and inform the public on ag-related issues as well as continue to expand my own personal knowledge within this dynamic industry.
